Sound Engineering BSc (Hons)

In the first year, you will cover the fundamentals of sound, audio electronics, programming, recording and production, and critical listening. along with the mathematics that underpins all these subjects. In the second year, we want you to dig deep into wider applications of sound engineering in different domains, immersing yourself in the tools and techniques that add depth and variety to your engineer's toolbox. We also want to see your personal vision and persona develop, to the point where you are happy to take on work outside of the university. By the third year, you will have a huge array of marketable skills under your belt and in this final year, you will learn to apply them in a range of environments.
