Bachelor of Paramedicine

Develop the skills required to work as a Registered Paramedic in ambulance settings, primary health care settings, community health care settings and more. While studying your paramedicine degree at VU, you’ll be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Practice your technical and non-technical skills in VU’s safe spaces using sophisticated resources and gain the Professional Capabilities of a paramedic. Your study will include a mix of interactive theoretical face-to-face classes, clinical practice laboratories, high-fidelity simulation clinics and work integrated learning (WIL). You’ll routinely engage with clinically current registered health professionals and academics as you develop your paramedic capabilities, ensuring you graduate with the professional standards and confidence to confidently enter the job market.
