Landscape Architecture, MLA

at Arizona State University

About the Course

The MLA program at The Design School is an accredited graduate professional degree that prepares students for professional practice, advanced study and leadership in landscape architecture. The master's degree integrates knowledge from arts, science and technology and trains students to design our built environment through integrated systems thinking and transdisciplinary knowledge and skills, and cultivates capacity in working with communities to address pressing issues such as climate change and environmental justice. The Master of Landscape Architecture program offers three pathways to accommodate applicants with various backgrounds. Applicants from diverse and non-design backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Students can complete the program in two to three years, depending on the focus of your bachelor's degree. The graduate program also prepares students for advanced research study toward a doctoral degree.
