Construction Project Management BSc(Hons)
About the Course
The degree has been developed to work alongside our Architecture, Architectural Technology and Quantity Surveying courses, to help you develop a strong understanding of professionalism within the construction industry. As such, you will benefit from opportunities to work collaboratively with students across other courses, which will give you experience and understanding in how to work in multidisciplinary teams. The course introduces aspects of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Lean Construction to give you the skills to take a project to completion, on time and on budget. BIM enables clients, constructors, and other parties to collaborate on projects wherever in the world they are based. Lean supports the reduction of waste in construction, helping projects generate better value to users and society. You’ll have the chance develop your leadership skills, and we’ll introduce you to insights from world-leading practitioners and academics.
