Nursing (Mental Health) BSc(Hons)
About the Course
Mental health nursing involves working with people, their families, carers, and communities, all of whom may experience the impact of mental ill health. This could include people with formal diagnoses, such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders, as well as those who do not accept or recognise these diagnostic labels. Mental health nurses work within the recovery framework to help people make sense of their own experiences; our nursing mental health course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive as a healthcare professional.
