About the Course

With our increasing reliance on computer systems and wireless networks and the growth of “smart” devices, cybersecurity professionals have become key to keeping organizations safe from computer security risks. In this two-semester graduate certificate program, you will learn how to protect computers, applications, and networks from unauthorized and malicious users or software. The program will cover key cybersecurity concepts of infrastructure configuration, information system security, risk management and policy, and ethics and law that are integral parts of cybersecurity. As a graduate, you will be prepared to work as part of an IT support or security team to mitigate security risks and safeguard information in public or private sectors.
