About the Course
Our Mental Health Nursing BSc (Hons) degree prepares compassionate professionals to address the growing mental health challenges facing society. With one in four people experiencing mental health issues annually, demand for specialised mental health nurses has never been greater. Accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), our mental health nursing course combines scientific knowledge with therapeutic communication skills and clinical placements, equipping you to provide holistic care across diverse healthcare settings, while making a profound difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. Led by expert clinical practitioners, you will gain a deep understanding of areas including human development and managing medicine safely, as well as the technical and personal skills required to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for patients in a wide range of environments. On successful completion of our mental health nursing course, you can apply for Registered Nurse (Mental Health) status with the NMC.
