About the Course
This top-up to degree course is an opportunity for Registered Nursing Associates with a foundation degree to continue with their nursing education to complete the Mental Health Nursing degree. Offered over 18 months, the programme is 50% theory and 50% practice so students can meet the degree and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) requirements to register as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) at the end of the course. Providing outstanding care for people with a range of mental health conditions is a challenging, but greatly rewarding, career. Approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), our Mental Health Nursing degree course will give you the blend of practical experience with essential knowledge and skills to help meet high demand for workers in the fields of nursing and mental health.
