Yokohama Design College
About
Our school started in 1948 as the official Tobe Dressmaking Specialty Women's School, which opened in Nishi Ward, Yokohama City, with the aim of disseminating dressmaking techniques.
After that, it was transferred to the vocational school "Tobe Dressmaking Academy". After establishing a vocational school, the name of the school was changed to "Yokohama Design Academy" in 2001.
Currently, we have a vocational school, a technical college, and a Japanese language department, and we are working to develop human resources.
