Hokuriku University was established in 1994 with the purpose of teaching practical Japanese language and culture, and foster internationally minded scholars. It is a one-year intensive course designed for those who wish to improve their Japanese language skills with the purpose of entering a Japanese university or graduate school, or who simply want to brush up on their Japanese and be able to experience life in Japan.
